Vista or window 7.
Which one do you prefer Vista or Window 7? Mine choice is window 7 because vista doesn't work in many of P4 computer, it is due to low memory space. It need 2gb Ram and 120gb hard disk to run.

RE: Vista or window 7.
True = but person asking is an from India and just spams boards with off topic items like the party in Long Beach.
He has been banned and other posts deleted. This is common how Spammers try and see legitiamte but post more and more off topic posts. Makes no sense. I have blocked many India IP ranges but caught a legitimate guy from India who is going to visit Phoenix so unbanned the IP block he was in.. RE: Vista or window 7.
I have Windows Vista 64-bit and intends to move to seven 64-bit Windows. The question is whether there is a good idea to do a clean install of the computer was not built by me. Cause I am not a part of CDs or software for some important programs that comes with your computer.

RE: Vista or window 7.
I skipped the Vista mess and just went from XP to Win7 64 bit. VERY happy. I've never seen for example Word load so fast.
So far none of the hangs and other issues with XP. 7 seems very stable but is a learning curve with different features like in my view worthless Libraries if your files are well organized, not having direct access to desktop files but can, etc. But overall I love it, fast stable and many new good features especially coming from XP for years. I go all the way back to the OS2 days and Win7 has finial got it right it seems. The huge headache with so many zillions of programs was reinsalling all which had to do from 32 bit XP to 64bit 7. Even from Vista a reinstall is best. I set up dual boot in case I needed to go back to XP. However the old XP system got somehow screwed up but fortunately have never needed to go back. Have old XP on different drive/partition and can go back and get any files needed. Plus has 3 different backup sources.
